1930's Hand Painted Oriental Pagoda Scene Square Plate England

A very pretty 1930's vintage plate with oriental pagoda scene in blue, green and orange. The scene is hand painted on an ivory china.

Measures 8 1/2" across and in in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and only slight wear to the gold trim. Marked Coronet Ware Made in England Parrott and Company with a green parrot logo.

Sandland Lancaster England 1920s Tidbit Plate

A pretty scenic tidbit plate with a picture of a 1700s father and children and cottage and well.

Measures 8" square and has a pink border with aqua luster trim and a silver plated handle.

In very good condition with slight crazing on the back where the handle is attached but no chips or cracks.

Johnson Bros ATHENA WHITE DOGWOOD Platter

This is a lovely Athena DOGWOOD platter manufactured by Johnson Bros of England.
It has a center pattern of white dogwood on a branch with green leaves, a ribbed border and is trimmed in aqua blue.

It measures about 14" by 11 1/2" and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks or scratches and looks like it was never used.

This is a beautiful piece and the only fault I see is that the ribbed edge is not molded quite as deep on one side but not too noticeable unless looking closely.

Large ROYAL DOULTON Decorator SUNSET Plate 1930s

A beautiful Royal Doulton scenic decorator plate featuring a sunset.
This has wonderful deep luster colors of brownish black with black trees and meadows with an orange and golden sunset.

The plate is large, measuring about 10 1/8" across.

Condition is good but it does show age crazing in the center when viewed closely. There are a couple of paint "misses" on the edge and two very teeny nicks that are difficult to see.

Previous owner added some resin to the back with a wire for hanging the plate.

Marked Royal Doulton Made in England with the lion logo, a mark from the 1930's. Also marked D3416 as shown.

This is a beautiful plate of good quality with an excellent luster glaze finish with no scratches.

To Commemorate The 150 the Anniversary of 1815 The Founding of the Royal Doulton Potteries 1965 with a portrait of John Doulton.

Measures 6" across and trimmed with gold.  Marked Made in England Royal Doulton England Bone China with lion and crown logo.
