1867-1967 Birks Canada Cobalt Plate
This
plate was offered for sale in Birk's store during Canada's Centennial of
1867-1967.
It is cobalt blue with heavy gold trim and the Canadian Coat of Arms crest
in the middle.
Measures about 8 1/4" across and was manufactured by Simpsons Potteries in
England. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks.

It is a standard size set with a fluted cup and made by Queen Anne of

Calgary Alberta Wild West Show Swanky Swig Glass
A Swanky Swig cheese glass from the 1950's commemorating the Wild West Show
in Alberta, Calgary Stampede, Calgary Alberta.
This has red and beige enamel pyro graphics on
clear glass. It has a horse and rider, an Alberta provincial crest and a
Maple Leaf. It is also marked "Know Canada Better" which was a series of
Swanky Swig glasses.
It measures 5" tall and is made from heavy glass
and is in excellent condition.

Advertising Aspirin Glass or Tumbler
This glass or tumbler shows a bottle of ASPIRIN on one side and "Chemical
Hall of Fame" is written under it. The other side has "The Hall of Fame Pain
Reliever TM" *Registered Trademark and it explains how Canadian scientists
recognize ASA or Aspirin as "the only" pain reliever.
It stands 3 1/2" tall and is in good condition
with no chips or cracks.

A bright colorful tin that was produced in 1967 for Canada's 100th Birthday.
It has graphics of the Hudson Bay Trading Post, the Fathers of
Confederation, Canadian Mountie, the Last Spike, etc. as well as the
Provincial crests.
It measures about 5" across and about 2 1/2"
high and is in very good condition with only slight wear on the edges.

Lovely Royal Winton B.C. White Dogwood
Creamer and Sugar Bowl
A nicely made creamer on a tray and
covered sugar set with the official flower of B.C., the white dogwood.
Manufactured in a fluted mold and
trimmed with gold. Cream jug is about 5 1/2" long from handle to spout
and covered sugar is about 5" tall to the top of the finial.
All four pieces in very good condition
with no chips or cracks. Very fine crazing consistent with most Royal
Winton.
Marked Royal Winton Grimwades England.

A delicate bone china cream pitcher and
open sugar bowl with the Dogwood flower pattern, the official flower of
British Columbia.
Creamer stands 3 3/4" to top of lip and
sugar is 2" high. Sugar is nicely lettered Penticton, B. C. in gold
